 Advice at the Bureau

  Our advice helps people resolve their debt, benefits, housing, legal, discrimination, employment, immigration, consumer and other problems and is available to everyone regardless of race, gender, sexuality, age, nationality, disability or religion.

Main Bureau opening times:

Mon: 09.00 - 17.00* 
Tue: 09.00 - 17.00* 
Wed: 09 .00 - 17.00** 
Thu: 09.00 - 17.00* 
Fri: 09.00 - 17.00*

*Note: Only Information and Signposting given after 2:00pm
**No full interviews will be given on a Wednesday after 12 noon. After 1pm on Wednesday the reception is staffed by administration staff meaning no advice can be given.

Advice at the Main Bureau on Lichfield Street Walsall is available on a wide range of different issues, including:

 
  • Welfare Benefits - Jobseekers Allowance, Housing Benefit, Child Benefit and Council Tax Benefit, Pension Credit, Disability Allowance and other benefits.
  • Debt - relating to mortgage or rent arrears, credit card debts,  telephone debts, catalogue debts and other debts.
  • Employment - about redundancy, dismissal, discrimination, holiday pay and other issues.
  • Housing - about homelessness, Local Authority housing, disrepair, landlord and tenant problems.
