Welcome to Walsall CAB

 

Walsall Citizens Advice Bureau is a registered charity, reliant on the support of a wide range of funders including Walsall Council, Walsall PCT, the Legal Services Commission, the Financial Inclusion Fund, Walsall Housing Group and Macmillan Cancer Relief.

During 2007-2008 the Bureau dealt with 30,000 clients on some 60,000 separate issues across a range of subjects including benefits, debt, employment, housing, consumer, family and personal, immigration and nationality, health matters.

Our principles and aims

Walsall CAB is a member of the national association of Citizens Advice Bureaux and provides free, independent, confidential and impartial advice to everyone on their rights and responsibilities. We aim to

·    To provide the advice people need for the problems they face

  • To improve the policies and practices that affect people’s lives

Advice services

We deliver information and advice through face-to-face interviews, telephone advice, email services and home visits.

AdviceGuide:  Here you will find practical up to date information relating to a range of issues that you may need advice on.  It covers topics such as benefits, housing, tax, debt, employment rights and discrimination.
